Accounts Payable (AP)

Accounts payable is a general ledger account that reflects money owed by a firm to its creditors or suppliers and is represented as a liability on the balance sheet. Notes payable obligations, on the other hand, are debts generated by formal legal instrument papers. Accounting services, legal services, utilities, supplies, and other accounts payable services can be assessed and reported manually or through automated tools.
